The research included the use of two measures of the quality of institutional performance and means of communication. After conducting statistical treatments and analyzing and discussing the results, several conclusions were reached, including that there is a deficiency in institutional performance, especially in the field of available relationships and human capital. As for the recommendations, the most important of them was to conduct a review in the use of communications related to the technological aspect. https://fphjournal.com/index.php/fphj/article/view/36

The deterioration of children's physical health has become a major public health issue of global concern. According to the "Report on the Nutrition and Chronic Disease Status of Chinese Residents" released by the National Health Commission in 2020, the overweight and obesity rate of urban and rural children in my country has reached 10%. By using the most advanced gross motor skill development tester (TGMD-3) to test the gross motor skills of 100 children from 5 kindergartens in Haiying Town, it was found that the development of gross movements was at a medium-low level, the displacement movement skills were at a medium level, and the object control skills were at a medium-low level. The development of children's movements such as "standing long jump", "single-handed racket hitting rebound ball", "kicking fixed ball", and "single-handed in-situ ball" needs attention and intervention.

This study analyzes the current status of the development of gross motor skills of children in Haiying Town, further explores the factors affecting the development of children's gross motor skills, and hopes to solve the problem of the level of gross motor skills and physical quality development of children in Haiying Town, improve the understanding and level of the importance of gross motor skills development of children in poor counties and towns, and contribute to the development of physical quality and sports for children in Haiying Town.
Mengjia YouWenming JiangKaining LiuZulakbal Abd Karim

https://fphjournal.com/index.php/fphj/article/view/38

To investigate the epidemiological characteristics and trends of esophageal cancer at the Affiliated Hospital of Youjiang Medical University for Nationalities over the past 30 years, aiming to inform prevention and treatment strategies in western Guangxi. Medical records from January 1994 to December 2023 of patients diagnosed with esophageal cancer were reviewed. Patients were grouped into three 10-year intervals for comparative statistical analysis, focusing on variables such as pathological type, onset location, age, clinical stage, ethnicity, gender, treatment modality, clinical symptoms, comorbidities, and urban-rural distribution. The majority of esophageal cancer cases were males (81.24%), predominantly Han Chinese (61.07%), with the disease mostly occurring in the middle esophagus (59.99%). Squamous carcinoma was the most common pathology (90.22%), with progressive dysphagia being the prevalent symptom (78.14%). Most patients were diagnosed at advanced stages, with an increase in those receiving comprehensive treatment (47.90%).Esophageal cancer in western Guangxi shows an aging trend with higher incidence in rural areas. The predominant pathology is squamous cell carcinoma, with the middle esophagus being the common site. There is a need to enhance cancer prevention education in rural areas, tailor prevention strategies to regional clinical characteristics, and improve outcomes through routine screening and early treatment in high-risk groups.
Gao JieSabah Mohammed Al-HaraziHong ZengMuhammad Za’imRizhu Li

https://fphjournal.com/index.php/fphj/article/view/37

Body composition mainly includes fat mass, muscle mass, body moisture, etc. These components are important parts of body mass and also important factors affecting human function and health. Abnormal body composition can cause many diseases. Objective: Explore the characteristics of body composition and the incidence of overweight and obesity in middle-aged and elderly people from the Mulam ethnic group in Guangxi, China, and provide a scientific basis for improving their health. Methods: This study included 384 Mulam minority individuals over the age of 45 years of age from the Luocheng Mulam ethnic autonomous county, Hechi, Guangxi, China. There were 165 males and 219 females. Body composition was measured using a bioelectric impedance analyzer in all of these participants. Results: The percentage of overweight and obesity in middle-aged and elderly Mulam people was relatively low; Their body composition distribution had certain rules. The non-lipid indices of men were higher than those of women. Lipid-related indexes were greater in women than in men. With increasing age, the related indexes of fat mass increased first and then decreased, while muscle mass decreased with increasing age. In women, body composition indicators slowly decreased with age. Conclusions: The decrease in muscle mass with age may lead to decreased body function. Therefore, it is suggested that middle-aged and elderly Mulam people adhere to good living habits and eating behaviors, maintain appropriate exercise, and maintain appropriate weight to promote physical health.
Zhou MinSabah Mohammed Al-HaraziMuhammad Za’im SahulaKairi HuangXiaoyun BinYaqin Pang

This study aims to develop and test a comprehensive set of indicators to assess the event quality in the context of sports tourism. Using the three-round Delphi method, participants evaluated an initial list of event quality model (EQM) indicators based on their experience. Through exploratory factor analysis (EFA) and confirmatory factor analysis (CFA) tests, multivariate normality, multicollinearity, construct reliability (Cronbach Alpha), convergent validity (e.g., principal component analysis), discriminant validity (e.g., Fornell-Larcker criterion) and construct validity were evaluated. Among the 32 candidate indicators, 20 were retained without multicollinearity problems, with strong internal consistency (0.963) and convergence validity (AVE > 0.5, CR > 0.7, SRW > 0.7). Discriminant validity (AVE > R2) and structural validity (P< 0.00, RMSEA = 0.035, CFI = 0.986, χ2/df =1.373). The results show that the newly developed scale of event quality model (EQM) meets the requirements of relevant indicators and can be applied to practical research.
Xuexin LiuJaffry Zakaria Omar Firdaus Mohd SaidWei WangMuhammad Nur Aizuddin Abdul Rahman
